MATSOL 2011 Conference: Call for ProposalsOne Size Doesn’t Fit All: Meeting the Needs of Diverse Learners
K-12 and Adult/Workplace/Higher Ed Focus May 5-7, 2011 Sheraton Four Points Leominster
We invite you to present this year at our annual spring conference. This year’s conference theme is One Size Doesn’t Fit All: Meeting the Needs of Diverse Learners. We hope that you will think about the effective classroom practices that you use and consider sharing your strategies, tools and materials with our colleagues and fellow members in the field of ELL education.
The conference will have a K-12 focus on May 5th, a general focus on May 6 and an Adult, Workplace and Higher Education focus on Saturday, May 7, 2011 (half day).
Please consider sharing your ideas and providing new insights and best practices from your classroom, district or institution with your colleagues. Please also disseminate this Call for Proposals to your colleagues who may be interested in presenting at this annual convention.

Proposal Submission Guidelines
Proposals must be submitted using MATSOL's online form at www.matsol.org.
In order to submit your proposal, have the following information ready before you begin:
1. Lead presenter: Name, mailing address, email address, phone, title, affiliation.
2. Co-presenter(s): Name, title, affiliation and email address.
3. Session title: 10 word maximum.
4. Session abstract: 50 word maximum (To be included in the conference program).
5. Biographical statement for each presenter: 25 word maximum (The committee reserves the right to shorten these statements as needed).
6. Email address: To include in program.
7. Session focus, session type and audience:

8. Session description: 300 word maximum (to be read by the proposal selection jury).
