Call for Proposals

The Call for Proposals is open for the 2024 MATSOL Conference. We invite our members to submit proposals to present at the conference either in-person from May 29-31, 2024, or virtually from June 5-7, 2024. The conference will take place in Framingham, MA and online on the Whova conference platform.

The 2024 MATSOL Conference brings together educators of English Learners to share expertise and best practices for ELE education in Massachusetts. The MATSOL conference audience will include teachers, administrators, and other educators in PK-12 schools (public, charter, independent); Pre-service & in-service teacher education; Community College ESL programs; Intensive English Programs (college IEPs); Adult and workplace education and Private Language Schools.

• Presentation: Live presentations or workshops for in-person and virtual conference. Proposals due Jan 7, 2024 - Extended. 
  
• Teaching Tip: Pre-recorded demonstration of a pedagogically-focused strategy or classroom activity. Proposals due Apr 10, 2024.
  
• Poster Session: Pre-recorded presentation of an academically sound scholarly or research project. Proposals due May 1, 2024.
