ESL Unit Developers SIG Meeting 12/03/25
Online Meeting
Wednesday, December 03, 2025, 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM EST
Category: Special Interest Groups

The ESL Unit Developers SIG is for K-12 teachers throughout the state who are interested in creating and implementing ESL curriculum units using the materials and processes of the Massachusetts Next Generation ESL Project. The goal of the ESL Unit Developers SIG is to facilitate collaboration in writing, reviewing, implementing, and sharing WIDA ELD Standards-based units in order to promote effective English language development for EL students state-wide. Visit the ESL Unit Developers SIG page for more information.

Join the ESL Unit Developers SIG for our Wednesday, December 3rd meeting from 4:30-6:00pm (please note the earlier start time) as we welcome special guests from WIDA, Lynn Shafer Willner and Margo Gottleib to answer your burning questions about the WIDA Language Charts. We are fortunate to have these experts in our midst, who actually co-created the Language Charts themselves! Following the Language Charts Q&A, we will provide an introduction to our January and February webinar series on using AI tools in unit development. We look forward to seeing you on December 3rd!

This meeting will take place online via ZOOM Meeting. Log in and find the meeting link here:
